MerlinMerge® SpeedPro - Deduping Software
Powered by Enterprise Searching and Matching Technology
Easy to Use Point-and-Click Deduping and Merge/Purge Solution
MerlinMerge® SpeedPro
is very easy to use, extremely powerful and flexible. MerlinMerge® SpeedPro
uses Intelligent Search Technology’s enterprise searching and matching
engine called NameSearch®.
After 12 years in the industry, NameSearch® is often described as “the
fastest and most accurate name and address searching and matching software.” MerlinMerge® SpeedPro
utilizes the power and flexibility of NameSearch® and is extremely user
friendly due to its simple point-and-click user interface. While NameSearch® is
a software component that integrates into enterprise systems, MerlinMerge® SpeedPro
is targeted for end users with little or no technical experience.
In addition to removing duplicates, MerlinMerge® SpeedPro can also create
one master record that combines complementary data from multiple duplicate
records. It can identify the unique records within two or more files and
interactively search through a single file. In other words, MerlinMerge® SpeedPro
provides unlimited possibilities for database management and administration.
MerlinMerge® SpeedPro point-and-click graphical user interface eases
the user through generation and saving of configuration files. These configuration
files are used primarily to maintain all settings that apply to the merge/purge
or deduplication job, such as input and output file paths, matching criteria,
column names, etc. Once the configuration file is saved, the MerlinMerge® SpeedPro
functionality can be invoked from the command prompt allowing for command
line deduplication and merge/purge processes. Command line execution allows
for automation of long batch jobs that need to be run on a regular basis
and provides a way to integrate MerlinMerge® SpeedPro as an integral
part of other processes. Saving all settings to a configuration file
makes it easy to rerun the same jobs at different times and to share identical
tasks among multiple users.
